After participating in productions for young audiences with the Collectif la Rétrogarde in Paris—first as a costume designer, then as an actress, and finally as a pianist and singer—Judith began working with companies specializing in children’s theater in France. She was cast as an actress in the production Joyeux Anniversaire by the Anteprima company, as well as in the Text’Avril reading festival at the Théâtre de La Tête Noire.
She then trained at the École des Glottes Trotters, the Martina A Catella Center for Vocal Research and Training in Paris. She enrolled at the LASSAAD International Theater School in Brussels. For her project Sirènes, Muses et Méduses, she was awarded the 2015 project grant from the Marc de Montalembert Foundation as initial support for creation, which funded a five-month journey and sound collection in Italy, Greece, Macedonia, and Bulgaria to meet female singers of traditional music. In January 2015, she founded the musical theater and movement company Filalo!.
Upon her return to Marseille in November 2015, she assisted Marianne Suner with her opera project Opéra. 22, which featured amateur performers. In April 2016, she assisted choir director Brigitte Cirla with Les Balconnades at the ZAT in Montpellier. She produced radio episodes for Sirènes, Muses et Méduses, based on recordings she made during her trip, which were broadcast on Radio Grenouille in the summers of 2016 and 2017.
In 2017, she assisted Katy Deville of the Théâtre de Cuisine, based at the Friche La Belle de Mai, on her production for very young children that combines dance and voice. What comes to us from afar is a curiosity about the world. She also composed the music for Nos Fantômes, a 2019 production by the Tac-Tac Company.
From 2017 to 2019, she participated in an Erasmus+ exchange led by Cie Acta in Villiers-le-Bel, in collaboration with Starcatchers (Scotland) and 2+Stitching (Amsterdam), focusing on theater and early childhood, during which she observed and conducted artistic research in a daycare center.
Today, she continues her work focused on early childhood through performances of the three shows in FILALO!’s repertoire, workshops based on the shows held with various audiences (professionals, preschool teachers, and daycare staff), as well as working for other companies as a director, composer, and musician-actor.
After working with Juliette Kempf on her very first show in 2009 and on a joint performance in 2010, she joined Le Désert en Ville in 2024 for the musical reading of the text La fiancée de papier.
